Lithology and Thickness
It is composed of greenstone-altered volcanic rocks of basic composition. In the lower and upper parts, there are beds of metamorphosed sandstones, sandstone-siltstone rocks, and limestones.
Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
The lower contact of the layer is tectonic
Upper contact
The upper contact represents an eroded surface, on which the Lower Jurassic Jerunsay Fm lies without apparent angular discordance.
Regional extent
It is exposed to the west of the Muzdubulak Fm (муздубулакской толщи) outcrops, in the basin of the Kayindy River.
